Inspired by your brilliant fund raising initiatives over the years, the Greggs operating Board are taking on the challenge of our Great Bakery Bike Ride, a cycling relay covering a mammoth 900 miles around the UK, visiting each one of our bakeries along the route!

We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for BBC Children in Need 2010 and our Greggs Breakfast Clubs, splitting the donation equally.

We need your help! Details of how to sponsor/donate will follow, but in the meantime, we are looking for some willing volunteers.

• Get on your bike!
We can’t cover this distance on our own, so we need volunteers to cycle any part of the journey with us. Even if it’s just a mile, let us know if you can join us.

• Point us in the right direction!
We need local knowledge to help plan the routes between each bakery. If you know the local roads, we’d love to hear from you.

• Raising the dough!
Can you help fundraise, e.g. any cycling-related fundraising ideas? Can you throw us a welcome party at each bakery as we arrive, and help raise even more money?
